How to Nominate/Apply

Each year, youth workers in five select cities are invited to apply for the DVULI training. Nominations and applications are only accepted between the months of September and December. Qualifying applicants interview before a panel of stakeholders.

The key qualifications for cohort participation includes:

• Has been in Christian urban youth ministry for a minimum of three years
• Leads a program or ministry that directly impacts youth
• Demonstrates a willingness to share leadership with others
• Has a strong desire to learn and has a teachable spirit
• Is in a position to implement plans for change
• Is able to participate fully as a part of his/her job
• Is personally active in a church
