How to Nominate/Apply

Each year, youth workers in five select cities are invited to apply for the DVULI training. Nominations and applications are only accepted starting in December. Qualifying applicants interview before a panel of stakeholders.

The key qualifications for cohort participation includes:

• Has been in Christian urban youth ministry for a minimum of three years
• Leads a program or ministry that directly impacts youth
• Demonstrates a willingness to share leadership with others
• Has a strong desire to learn and has a teachable spirit
• Is in a position to implement plans for change
• Is able to participate fully as a part of his/her job
• Is personally active in a church
