A 2022 survey of challenges facing Christian leaders serving urban youth, both DVULI alumni and those who have never been through DVULI training, is published in the following report:
Impact by the Numbers
- 93 % invest in the development of other leaders
- 82 % said they manage change by working collaboratively
- 73 % regularly ask youth to take a role in planning and implementing ministry activities
Alumni Benefits
Graduates of the 18-month training are offered a lifetime relationship with DVULI staff and alumni nationally. Staff contact all alumni annually to ensure those who remain in youth work are equipped with sustainability tools and resources. In addition, alumni are given access to seed grants to collaborate locally and offer supplementary training to urban youth leaders in their community.
