Center for Youth Studies
What comes to mind when you hear the phrase “One-stop Shop?” If you said, “A company, organization or location that offers a multitude of services to a client or customer,” you’d be exactly right. Originally, One-Stop Shops were limited to physical buildings, but with today’s advances in technology, they now include websites. One such web location is Center for Youth Studies.
Founded in 1984 by Dean Borgeman, Center for Youth Studies, is a place where those committed to working with youth can not only find information that is comprehensive, relevant, and practical; but also opportunities for networking. The most exciting feature of this website is the Encyclopedia of Youth Studies, which contains over 300 topics affecting youth worldwide. As an added feature, there is a tab called “Ask the Expert,” which allows the user to obtain answers to questions not found on the website.
If you’ve been looking for resource rich youth related information, look no further than Center for Youth Studies. Let it be one of your youth ministry’s “One-Stop Shops.”
